Here We Go

Hi, most people reading this already know that Jeff, our dog Nika, and I are getting ready to drive across country from Boston, MA to Portland, OR. We plan on taking about two weeks to make the trip, and will then be settling in either Oregon or Washington (depending on jobs!) It is 1 a.m. (late Monday, early Tuesday) and Jeff and I have spent the whole day and night packing the car and car top to prepare to leave in the morning. We are going to sleep now, but just wanted to get this started so that it will be easy to add to along the way. Tomorrow (Tuesday August 14th) we will be headed to Ithaca, NY and will camp there for the night. It looks like we will be able to find a place to get wireless internet so hopefully we will give some more information then (including our itinerary for the trip!) We will do our best to keep everyone updated, but it will depend a lot on when we can get an Internet connection, so feel free to call us along the way!
